FORM tracks sleep and recovery on Android too. Health Connect is the pipe. Samsung, Garmin, Oura, Amazfit and Google Health are the sensors. Last night lands in FORM next to meals and training, not in a second diary.
How Android connection works
Health Connect is the equivalent of Apple Health on Android. You grant FORM sleep and the other types you want. FORM tracks them. It does not replace Samsung Health, Google Health, Garmin, Oura or Amazfit. Those apps remain the sensors. FORM is where sleep, recovery, food and programs share a day.
Samsung and other watches
- Samsung Galaxy Watch typically flows through Samsung Health, then Health Connect, if you allow it.
- Garmin, Oura, Amazfit and similar brands often expose sleep and workouts to Health Connect when you turn that on.
- Google Health is part of that same Android health graph. Grant FORM what you want it to see.
Every brand’s settings screen is slightly different. The rule is the same: the watch writes to its app, Health Connect is the pipe, FORM reads what you grant. If a metric never appears, check the watch app’s Health Connect sharing, then FORM’s permissions.
You still log food and training in FORM
A watch will not scan a plate. It will not photograph a menu. It will not describe a meal. Wearable minutes are not a Food Score. FORM tracks sleep and recovery from that watch, then still needs the meal and the session in FORM.
Privacy on Android
Grant the minimum you actually want on the day. You can withdraw Health Connect access without deleting FORM. FORM does not sell your personal data. It does not diagnose you from watch reads. Health data is processed to run the features you turn on.
